Islam is a religion of peace but unfortunately there are people who have used Islam for not so peaceful purposes. One of the original goals of Islam is to unite humankind and to recogonize the brotherhood and sisterhood of all people regardless of their sex, race, religion and nationality. The present discourse is an attempt to expose some of the contradictions in the Salafi discourse and to point out the fact that many Salafis are doing more harm than good without realizing it. Also we should recogonize that even among the Salafis there are numerous groups. Some advocate the ends justify the means ideology, others follow the "magic" kingdom and its "ulemas" and still others are (sometimes) reasonable. There is a difference between giving dawah and inciting hatred and many a times some salafis seem to cross this line. What is common amongst the aforementioned strands of salfis is anti-semitism even when some of them do not recogonize it. Of course many of them will condemn killing innocent civilians but one should ask them what kind of result would one expect if you continue to demonize a whole group of people. Realistically how do you think your followers would act when they are in a position of power?
In the Quran, Surah al-Ma'ida ayah 32 states:
…Man qatala nafs bi ghayr nafsin aw fasad fi al-ard fa ka anna maa qatala an-nas jami'a…
…That who kills a single soul except for a soul (killed) or for corruption in the earth, so it is as that he killed all of humankind…
